Last night was not intended to be one of those graffiti abatement binge nights like I have had in the past. No, last night's special outing had different purpose. It was one of those..."this is how you do it" nights in an effort to give more momentum to the graffiti abatement movement and inspire yet another interested party in adopting this clean-up hobby.
So after a pit stop at Club Jager, we set out...to remove some tags...with only 45 minutes to get the job done. Of course, we didn't come close to some the records I have set with Gazabo Jay or the II; but hey, sometimes, it's just about the principle of the matter....
Of the seven pieces of graffiti removed last night, only three were by PaulZee-HC...mainly because community members have removed so much of his vandalism that its not as common on Plymouth and west of West Broadway now-a-days:
One (#40)
Two (#41)
Three (#42)
Four (#43)
Five (#44)
Six (#45)
Seven (#46)
So when I asked my special graffiti abatement partner last night for impressions, the response was priceless: "It is amazingly simple to remove the graffiti...someone just has to take ownership to get it done." True...so true.

You can add some graffiti on the garage in the alley @ 2801 Girard to your to do list if you need more.

ReplyDeleteA quick trip to the paint section at Home Depot and eight bucks is all you need to get the supplies. Just ask for the best product for removing graffiti...or call 311...depending on you're energy level.
